Nuffic Neso Indonesia is part of a worldwide network of Netherlands Education Support Offices, and is an overseas office of Nuffic, the Netherlands expertise and service centre for internationalisation in education. At the moment, Nuffic Neso Indonesia is looking for Scholarship Officer.

Nuffic Neso Indonesia key activities are:

  • Support the positioning of Dutch Higher Education Institutions in Indonesia
  • Study in Holland information and student counselling for Indonesian students
  • Promote cooperation between Higher Education Institutions
  • Support Holland Alumni network
  • Management of scholarship programmes (StuNed, Orange Knowledge Programme, Orange Tulip Scholarship, EU SHARE)
  • Facilitate scientific research collaboration between Indonesia and the Netherlands
  • Support student mobility of Dutch students coming to Indonesia
  • Management of specific projects in the education field

 

StuNed (Studeren in Nederland or Study in Holland) is a bilateral scholarship programme between the Netherlands and Indonesia that aims to develop the capacity of young potential Indonesian future leaders and contribute to human resource development in Indonesia. The target group for the StuNed scholarships programme are Indonesian young professionals. StuNed provides scholarships for Masters and tailor-made training.

Summary             :

To focus on the development and implementation of the StuNed scholarship programme with an emphasis on building partnerships and mobilising resources to maximise the impact of scholarship activities.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop new initiatives and strategies of StuNed scholarship particularly regarding maintaining relationship with main stakeholders as Dutch Embassy, as StuNed donor and Dutch Higher Education Institutions.
  • Develop new initiatives and strategies for scholarship programmes particularly regarding resource mobilization and co-funding opportunities through expanding and intensifying relations with relevant parts of the Indonesian government, other stakeholders in education and with the Indonesian and Dutch business society
  • Implement the current StuNed scholarship programme
  • Identify and convert opportunities to make StuNed activities and results visible (text/visual, online/print) for all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities related to reporting, monitoring and evaluation of scholarship programmes.
  • In coordination with the Nuffic Neso Alumni Officer and StuNed Alumni Association, to organize StuNed alumni events such as workshops, meetings, and other thematic events.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1), with 5 years working experience, preferably in and internationally oriented work environment.  
  • Experience to work with education institutions, government, donor agencies and corporate partners in an international context.
  • Strong project management skills, familiarity with proposal writing and reporting procedures.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent English communication skills in speaking and writing.
  • Computer literate especially in MS office applications.
  • Experience with studying abroad and/or living in the Netherlands is preferred.
  • Experience in event management and promotion/communications would be an advantage.
  • Able to work in a team and independently.
