Co – speaker: Dr. Bachti Alisjahbana Ph.D.
Prof. Andre van der Ven is Professor for International Health at the Faculty of Medical Sciences – RU Nijmegen, with specialization in poverty – related diseases in developing countries, attached to the UMC St. Radboud Nijmegen. Dr. Bachti Alisjahbana obtained his Ph.D. from UMC Nijmegen on the Host Immunological Response on Patient Care and is the chairman of Health Research Unit, Medical Faculty UNPAD – RS. Hasan Sadikin Bandung.
The presentations will cover the following topics: “UNPAD – Radboud Nijmegen co – operation with special attention on Tuberculosis Research” and “Injecting drug use and HIV transmission in West Java and the Netherlands”.
