‘The most impressive water sports centre for students’

'Out of bed and straight into the boat', this is the promise made by the new Student Water Sports Centre. On Friday 6 June it will be opened officially. 89 water-loving students live above the boat houses. They have a grandstand view of the Dwarswetering, the Green Heart and the originally designed clubhouse of Asopos de Vliet.
The Water Sports Centre accommodates four associations: Levitas (canoeing), de Blauwe Schuit (Leiden Students’ Diving Society) and with its 350 members by far the largest, Asopos de Vliet (rowing). After serious consideration, the rowing association Njord had decided to remain at their Morsweg location.
