ASEMUNDUS: enhancing higher education cooperation between EU and Asia
03 Feb 2010
ASEMUNDUS is an initiative of nine Erasmus Mundus National Structures, funded within the framework of ERASMUS Mundus II – Action 3.
The project has been selected for 3 years (2009-2012). It aims at enhancing the higher education cooperation between the EU and Asian ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) member states. ASEMUNDUS intends to do so by making the ERASMUS Mundus programme more visible and accessible for interested Asian (ASEM) higher education institutions.
These aims will be accomplished by providing general information on ERASMUS Mundus during four Asian higher education fairs. In addition to this, specific thematic contact seminars for selected higher education staff from Europe and Asia will be organised parallel to each fair. Furthermore, the project aims at establishing a network of ERASMUS Mundus promoters in selected Asian ASEM countries.
