The Institutional Testing Program provides convenient, affordable English proficiency tests that can be used for institutional placement, progress evaluation, exit testing, and other situations that don't require a secure environment. The purpose of the ITP TOEFL test is to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. Each test uses a multiple - choice format to measure the ability to understand North American English. The ITP TOEFL test is given in a single session of about two and a half hours, which includes the time required for completing admission procedures.
